Born in Tokyo, 1967.
In search for further development and expansion of his own sound, he sets abroad to Europe in 1994. After his return back to Japan, he organized LAVA MIX, his self-produced event uniting the theme of Art, Music, and Fashion. He continuously flew back to London every year to self-promote by distributing his demo-tracks.

In September 2001, he released his first album "Aile Alegria",featuring Brazilian female vocalists to his club-music, mainly consisting the tastes of Brazilian and Jazz sound. The album drew much attention in the Japanese FM radio station hit chart, and he, as a result, was called upon to participate in many compilation albums. He later signed a contract with Audiopharm, a major record label in Germany. His 1st album "Aile Alegria" had been settled to be released in eight countries throughout the Europe, and LAVA himself headed out to the tour in Germany in February of 2002. "Aile Alegria" had been ranked as high as #4 in the dance floor chart of Germany.

His 2nd album "Mundo Novo" has been released in July of 2002, and the European version of the album is scheduled to be released
in summer of 2003.

He had been in the producing process since the winter of 2002, leaving his home country. And, through the collaborations with musicians and singers active throughout the world music scene, his new mini-album "Rhythm & Brazil," including 8 self-covered and remix tracks, will be released in March of 2003. "Rhythm&Brazil" had been ranked as high as #3 in the dance chart of HMV Japan.#1 the world chart of Tower Records Japan

"Morena," key track of this album, is settled to be released as a single in the US and EUROPE from Tet Kale Records, the label managed by Jephte Guillaume, known for a school of the "Body & Soul." At the same time, LAVA will go on the promotion over in the US and EUROPE.

His other activities include sponsoring tracks and producing artists and planning to host the event "Hanumahn" cosponsored by J-Wave, in clubs throughout the Tokyo metropolitan area. And also, his album "Mundo Novo" has recently been appointed as an official image music by the apparel brand J-Ferry; his activity has begun to broaden in and out of the country, and now reaching into the field of fashion.

He plans to actively promote in global communication and relations through music.
